I agree, John. There have been some chilling admissions made by those dying without knowing Jesus.

The documentary, "His Tomb is Empty," did not air as advertised on the Inspiration Network website. I apologize if anyone went to watch it, and was disappointed. I looked for this on Amazon, or somewhere for sale, but I can't find it. That's really a shame, because it is so well done. This is such an important subject that I believe this documentary should be available for viewing-on-demand over the internet. Or at the very least, on sale on Amazon.

...I have never heard of one single person, when facing death said; "I regret having trusted in Jesus."
However what I find interesting are some of the famous last words of some people of other "faiths" [atheism is a faith, their faith is in themselves].

Yes, we are on a solid foundation.

Sadly, there are those who do not know this. And then the Discovery Channel comes along and pretends to produce a serious archaeological work. Sadly, many do not know these historical truths, or do not understand what true archaeology and historical scholarship are. And they fall for these lies.

The film, "His Tomb is Empty," is excellent. I recommend it to everyone. It presents the real historical evidence of Jesus' Resurrection, and exposes the enormous problems with the Discovery Channel's "findings." The Inspiration Network airs this film from time to time. Apparently, there is also an ebook.

http://www.insp.com/shows/his-tomb-is-empty/

Jesus Christ rose from the dead. No one has ever found His bones, because they are not here to find. Remember, anyone can CLAIM anything. Look at the evidence.

Look at the over 500 people who saw Jesus alive after His crucifixion. Look at the Apostles who gave their lives for Him, and went to their various deaths still proclaiming they had seen the RISEN LORD. Look at the millions who have trusted Him since, and have not been disappointed. Look at the lives He has changed. Look at those of us who know Him and fellowship with Him - even now, 2,000 years later.

Jesus is alive, everyone. This is an awesome and humbling truth. WOW. He is alive, and He offers us life! WOW!

Cornelius Tacitus, Flavius Josephus, all recorded events of Jesus life including His resurrection:
"At this time there was a wise man who was called Jesus. And his conduct was good and (he) was known to be virtuous. And many people from among the Jews and other nations became his disciples. Pilate condemned him to be crucified and to die. And those who had become his disciples did not abandon his discipleship. They reported that he had appeared to them three days after his crucifixion and that he was alive, accordingly, he was perhaps the messiah concerning whom the prophets have recounted wonders." These historical writings predated the Old Testament. As Josephus died in 97 A.D. [compliments of The Historic Jesus]
"There are enough sources "outside" of the Bible to conclude these events are "historically correct" within the new Testament." [Harry V. Martin]

Several years ago the Discovery Channel produced and aired a pseudo-documentary, "The Lost Tomb of Jesus." In this attempt at smashing the foundations of Christianity, "amateur archaeologists" sought to prove that an ossuary discovered in the 1980's held the remains of Jesus Christ. What they produced was an embarrassing amateurish fraud. Their conclusions were obviously formed by their pre-existing biases and not by any evidence. HUGE assumptions were made, and half-truths were the norm.

Many Secular and Christian Scholars cried foul at this blatant attempt to hide unbelief and hatred of Christianity behind a mask of fake scholarship. There was a time when the reputations of those involved in a fraud of this magnitude would have been irreparably damaged. Those responsible should have been shamed into silence. And for awhile I thought they had been.

Inconceivably, those behind the embarrassing debacle are at it again. They are in the news again with more strange and improvable claims. They are ignoring their trip to the woodshed; and are acting as if we all will simply believe everything they say, just because they say it. Unfortunately, they may trick those who don't know of their blatant dishonesty and unscholarly practices.

Beware of people like this. Even when disproven and exposed, their hatred is so strong, and their pockets are so deep, they continue their lies. How unfortunate and sad. One day they will kneel before the Risen Jesus and admit that He is the Risen Lord.

The Inspiration Network repeatedly aired a splendid documentary which exposed the fake archaeology for what it was. This careful and scholarly documentary is entitled, "His Tomb is Empty."

The Inspiration Network will air this excellent program again early this Sunday morning, March 11 at 12:00 a.m. (midnight) ET. If you are on the west coast, it will air on Saturday evening, March 10 at 9:00 p.m. PT. (Daylight Savings Time doesn't begin until 2:00 a.m. Sunday morning.)
