Understand, God is the source of all wisdom. The wisdom for Christians is the understanding of heavenly things. It is impossible for humans to understand things from above with an earthly mind. This knowledge is free from the carnal or sensual, it is not just a single act or word, but it directs our lives in a Godly manner. This understanding encourages all to live in peace among the saints, and even be at peace with all men. It makes the person moderate, and slow to anger, not prone to "knee jerk" reactions. This knowledge will not act in jealousy, but it will bring mercy and promote love. It will act in justice, be free with compassion, these actions will be evident at all times.
In this knowledge is found the righteousness of God, in this understanding is found eternal life. For it is the call of God on the life of a believer, to live in contrast to the world. As Christians we should always act: wise toward God, tolerable toward our neighbor, and upright in the sight of the world. We are to be physicians, and not executioners!
